This seventh edition takes a different path between performance art and the public. A proof, if we need one, that artists have the capacity to upset and change the daily habits of a city. As to repaint our lives and our city with the arts that offer new perspectives to our consciences!
Since six years, Infr’Action puts the beautiful Mediterranean city of Sète under the sign of performance art. When one speaks about performance art in France, for sure, Infr’Action is the first that comes to mind. The festival has been able to rely on a profound knowledge of contemporary art to become a meeting spot of young artists, as well as those who alreaday can be described as already belonging to the history of contemporary art. Infr’Action continues with the same ambition to innovate and being opened to the audience at large, the same will to develop and go beyond while at the same time staying close to its original principles : being both popular and avant-garde.
