The Dough Warrior Portrait painting is a cross media work, which is to say, that the work exists in several media.
The live performance shows the process of how Søren Dahlgaard works with painting.
Dressed in 70 long French baguettes, Søren Dahlgaard tranforms into The Dough Warrior – his performance character.
The model that is being painted transforms during the painting process into a portrait painting as he or she is completely covered in paint.
A photograph is taken of the finished painting and can be exhibited at later occasions. |
