The original idea behind the festival was the conviction that it was necessary to create an event and a platform for performance art in France.
Another founding idea was to emphasise the importance of public access to contemporary art. And as a consequence, to put it out on the streets amongst people.
This with the overall idea to stimulate the need of experimentation and visual poetry, and further, emotional intelligence and human empathy, in an era dominated by the society of the spectacle. |  |
